It’s the month of September and even though it seems months away, Winter Sports are right around the corner.

The Walker varsity wrestling team is looking forward to another great season. Last year the team made it to the 2nd round of state team duals, with Gabe Herlong and Anthony Spradling leading the way for the Wolverines. Last year, Gabe Herlong had an outstanding record with 40 wins, 35 of which were by pins, and only eight losses. Anthony Spradling also had a fantastic season last year, placing 3rd overall in the Cobb County Tournament.

The Walker Upper School varsity basketball team is getting ready for another winning season. Last year, the Wolverines went 14-10. “It’s that time. We are on the hunt for that state championship. Every day, we’re getting better and better to achieve that feature that the program has not seen before. It’s revenge time. We are coming back stronger, faster, and ready to kill these teams. It’s go time!”- Micheal Milligan. Walker’s first game is against Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy at 7:30 on November 4.
