The Wolverines visited Hilton Head on Friday, March 15th, to face Hilton Head Prep. But first, the teams spent a day on the beach before meeting their Saturday matches..

When The Wolverines faced Hilton Head Prep, the boys’ team won 5-0. Senior Casey Arkoette scored two goals and had one assist, and Senior Ayan Goel scored one goal. Mathew Torres scored a goal as well. After the game, they went on to celebrate at the beach. Traveling to Hilton Head to face Hilton Head Prep has become a fun tradition at Walker that has bonded the soccer teams. Ariya said that her favorite part of traveling to Hilton Head every year is bonding with the team after the game in the Hotel Room. Ariya, a varsity girl’s player, said that her favorite year was this past year in 2024. Ariya and Casey agreed that their favorite year was this past year, 2024. Casey, the varsity boys’ soccer captain, said his favorite part of the Hilton Head trip was going to the beach the morning of the game and playing soccer.
