Every year, there are many different events during homecoming week that students can participate in. Before the week started, most students were excited for the homecoming dance, then field day, the dress up days, the pep rally, and finally, the football game. After the week ended, most people liked the pep rally the most, then dress up days, field day, the homecoming dance, and lastly, the football game, which got zero votes. 

Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Helene, the villains on screen dress up day, technicolor dress up day, field day, and the pep rally all got moved to the next week, however, most people said that it worked out and was still fun. The football game got canceled, but luckily, the rivalry game was happening the following week, so many students went to that! The football game would have likely placed higher if it went as originally planned.

Before homecoming week, most students were excited for the childhood movie dress up day, then the movie villains day, jersey day, class colors, and lastly, tacky tourist day. After the week ended, people liked childhood movie day the most, then movie villains, tacky tourist and jersey day tied for third and fourth, and class colors day came in last place.

People’s top five field day games were volleyball, dodgeball, ships and sailors, tug of war, and kickball. The most popular pep rally game was the air mattress relay.

Overall, most students agree that the two homecoming weeks were successful!
