Walker Football has completed the regular season, and some players had stand-out performances.
Senior Bennett Wright has been a great player on both sides of the ball again for Walker this year. He has racked up 36 tackles, including five for loss this year while playing linebacker on defense. On the offensive side, Wright plays running back, and he has 358 yards on 68 carries, including two touchdowns. Bennett recently received an offer from Bluffton University in Ohio.

Junior Grant Addison had another phenomenal season for the Wolverines, racking up 498 receiving yards on 42 catches with five touchdowns. Grant has broken the school record for receiving yards in a career with 1,694 yards and still has another year to play.
Sophomore Matias Simon has been a solid piece for this year’s walker defense. He led the team with 37 tackles and added an interception that he returned for a touchdown against Heritage this year.
