Our varsity boys basketball team had an amazing season this year, going 24-4 overall and 15-0 in our region for the first time in all of school history. With our best record in the last 20 years, we had three athletes earn All-Region titles: senior Xavier Berry, junior Anderson Carey, freshman KD Hernandez, and sophomores Lorenzo McCorvey and Graham Titus with honorable mentions. Coach Bryce Brickhouse also earned GHSA Coach of The Year!
We were undefeated at home and away this season, only falling short on games at neutral sites. Our highest-scoring game was 95 points against Cross Keys, and our most significant win margin was 64 points. KD leads our team in points and rebounds this season with 433 points and 173 rebounds, Xavier leads in assists with 146, and he also broke a school record with the most assists in one game (21).
It was a HISTORIC season for our Wolverines, and we are very excited to see what next season brings.
