This is Chloe Augustus’ first year at Walker and in journalism. Chloe is engaged in the fall, winter, and spring student athletic training programs. Outside of school, she loves to play beach volleyball and cook. Chloe plans to study psychology, attend medical school, and become an anesthesiologist.

Skye Baker is a senior and has attended Walker since 2nd grade. She participated in Volleyball and Football Cheerleading and plans to continue cheering in college. Skye loves walking her dog and working out in her free time.

Mallory Jewkes is a senior at Walker and has been here since third grade. She has been in fall, winter, and spring student athletic training all four years of high school and plans to pursue a degree in exercise science and a master’s in athletic training. Mallory enjoys baking, being outside, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports in her free time. She will be attending BYU in the fall.

Savannah Jordan has been a Wolverine since Pre-K and is now a junior at The Walker School. Savannah enjoys cheer and is a varsity cheerleader. When not busy with schoolwork, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and shopping. Savannah enjoys volunteering at her church and tutoring kids with dyslexia and ADHD. She plans on going to college in the South and continuing to work with little kids and their learning disabilities.

Chloe Niland is a senior and has attended Walker since 5th grade. She enjoys reading, shopping, hanging out with friends, and riding horses. Chloe will study accounting at UGA next year!

Jackson Ramon is a senior at Walker and came here in the 11th grade. He has been part of our varsity baseball team both years and plays travel baseball in the summer. In his free time, Jackson likes to golf, play baseball, and hang out with his friends. Jackson plans to study Sports Management at the University of Alabama in the fall with a goal of working for a professional sports team or being a player agent.

Penelope Strother is a Senior at Walker and has attended since her freshman year. She enjoys traveling, specifically to Italy, cooking, and petting her cat, Clarisse. In the future, she plans to major in psychology and minor in Italian.

Audrey Taylor is a junior at Walker and has been here since the 6th grade. She is involved in various activities in and outside of school. She enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her friends and family in her free time. Audrey is the captain of the varsity lacrosse team, works closely with a women’s shelter to help aid those less fortunate, and is the president of the fashion club. In the future, Audrey plans to study business or pediatric medicine.

- Mr. Richard Gibson
Richard Gibson serves as Upper School Film and Video Class Teacher, Multimedia-Journalism class advisor, and audio-visual and technology support for The Walker School in Marietta, GA. Mr. Gibson earned a B.A. in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. He has played guitar with The Walker School’s award-winning musical bands. He is a music fanatic, playing and listening, and enjoys learning and teaching about all things technology-related. Mr. Gibson lives in Marietta with his wife and young son.
