The Walker School has announced the new hiring of football coach, Alec Lemon. He attended the University of Syracuse, where he was named All-Big East First Team and a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist. When he attended Syracuse, he had the most single-season receptions and held a record of 201 career catches. After attending the University of Syracuse, he played for the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. He was with the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens for only two seasons, 2013-2015, as a wide receiver. He was also previously coaching at Glen Burnie High School. Coach Alec Lemon stated, “This is an incredible opportunity to join such a respected and distinguished institution. The support and strong sense of community that I felt while on campus are what make Walker so special. Our student-athletes are motivated, driven, and ready to make their mark as we move the program forward in a positive direction. I am excited to get to work and help elevate Walker Football to new heights.” This is a great opportunity to help a new beginning and grow the Walker football team. Thank you, Coach Alec!
