Walker hosted its annual robotics tournament on Saturday the 24th. Teams from around the state came to compete in an all day event. Teams competed in a game of Starstruck. They were to build a robot that could collect stars and blocks and put them onto the opponents side of a fence. The opponents would also be trying to move block and stars onto the other side of the fence. Teams were scored based on how many stars they moved onto an opponents side.

After the morning matches teams selected alliances to compete in the elimination round. The Walker team ended up getting second in the elimination rounds with their ally! Matt Johnson, Clay Jones, and Nick LaDue were all apart of the Walker team that got second place. The Walker teams have one more competition to try to qualify for the state championship.
