The Walker baseball team has been on a roll. Aside from a few challenging games with tough teams, the Wolverines still stand a chance to be a contender in the region playoffs and beyond.

Wherever the Wolverines place in seeding, they must step it up to make a run for the championship. Playoff baseball is a different animal. One mistake, and you can let your opponent get the upper hand. Walker needs perfect baseball in every aspect of the game, from base-running and hitting to fielding and pitching. 

Finishing the regular season 19-7, the Wolverines placed third in the region. The Wolverines will travel to Fairburn Georgia to face Landmark Christian in a doubleheader Monday, April 24. If the Wolverines can at least spit the doubleheader, they will play a tiebreaker Tuesday to advance to the next round.
