This fall, the middle school A-team volleyball has been dominating the court. The team had a 9-game winning streak until last week’s loss against North Cobb Christian. This season, the A-team, all eighth graders, beat schools like Whitefield, Fellowship, and, most exciting, Mount Paran!!!

Most of these girls have been playing for a few years, but this is Mallory Smythe’s first year on the team, “I really like how everybody is so nice to each other and builds each other up on and off the court.” Another team member, Victoria King, has been playing for a few years, and loves being a part of this team, as does teammate Reece Armstrong, “We have a really good team dynamic.

Hopefully, as their season goes on, these girls will make it to their Metro-10 playoffs, where they’ll have the chance to play against some other incredible teams in Atlanta!! For now, the A-Team will go on to play Mount Bethel, Weslyan, and Westminster over the next few weeks. Let’s go support!!!
