The Walker School has been off to a great start with five wins and zero loses. The team was hoping for an undefeated season, as they were ranked third in the state until the game on Tuesday. The loss to Whitefield was unexpected and puts a damper on the season, but the team still has high hopes for going far in the state playoffs and having a good chance at winning it all.
The team lost by one to the unranked Wolfpack. The team was disappointed in how they played and believes if they play the Wolfpack again, the outcome will be much different. Will Bozeman said “We were not playing well as a team and were forcing shots.” Omar Cooper said,” To lose by one while giving up 18 offensive rebounds is insane. It will be different next time.”
