While the school year was cut short, there were many memories that the senior class can reflect back on. Here are five of my favorites from this year.
Walker 21 – Mt. Paran 20

This was the first win against Mt. Paran in eight years. It was a special moment for the whole team and something these seniors will remember forever. This was a highlight of one of the many accomplishments in fall sports.
Footloose

Footloose was a successful and wonderful production from the drama department. The seniors that worked on this play put in hard work to make a great production, and they will be missed.
Homecoming

Homecoming was a success this year with the decorations and music. It was definitely one of the better homecomings that Walker has had over the years and was an overall great time.
Winter Sports

The winter sports teams brought much success and pride for The Walker School. The swim team, basketball teams, and wrestling teams accomplished many achievements throughout the season, including Boy’s Varsity Basketball making it to the Elite Eight for the first time in many years.
Spring Sports

While the season ended how nobody wanted it to end for spring sports, the teams enjoyed what they had. The Walker baseball, lacrosse, soccer, golf, and tennis teams had their season cut short, but Girl’s Lacrosse player Anna Goeppner says, “I am so proud of everything my teammates and I have accomplished, even though it was cut short. I’ll miss playing with them so much, but I know they are all going to come back even better next year.” With only playing a couple games in the season, it is not the outcome anyone wanted or expected, but it will give an opportunity for those who can play next year to appreciate the sports they are playing.
