Walker basketball had a great season. The boys ended with an 18-10 record and went to the state playoffs but unfortunately lost in the first round. Star players, sophomores CJ and Ricky, had a stellar year for the team. They filled in the leadership spots as the team only had one senior. Robert Larson also played an important role as the only senior on the roster.

The Walker Varsity girls basketball team played well and won a couple of games. They went to the state tournament but lost first round. The girl’s team had some great players and leaders. The athlete that rose above the others as a leader was Schuyler Boyer. She played a significant role on the team as she was one of few seniors and a great player on the court.

Overall the Walker Basketball season was great, and we hope to see both teams have another great season next year.
