High School Helpers is a club in Walker Upper School. It is a service-related club, consisting of high school students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Students have the opportunity to go to the Lower School or Pre-School on Fridays to either help a teacher or participate in activities with the younger kids.

In the past, the club has helped clean and organize the Lower School Art room, shelve books in Ms. Carter’s library, laminate papers, and hang posters on bulletin boards. Additionally, students have participated in indoor recess, Just Dance, friendship bracelets, “trashketball”, and 4 corners with the kids in 1st and 3rd grade.

This club gives high schoolers a chance to form meaningful friendships with the younger grades and serve as role models.
