As the Homecoming game and dance fast-approaches, Walker students break out their most festive monster and alien costumes and duel it out in an intense lyric battle. Many popular costumes included Mike and Sully from “Monsters’ Inc.”, blue and green aliens, and out-of-this-world Galaxy costumes.Students, like Maurine Fan also sported festive face paint to really sell their monster and alien costumes. Even the teachers showed their homecoming spirit with matching “Men in Black” costumes. During assembly, after several exciting rounds of lyric-guessing, the game was tied. Senior, James Snavely and Junior, Dylan Alfi competed head-to-head singing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Due to a hilarious and a bit eccentric performance, Alfi came out on top. Overall, the day was a successful one, and left the entire school excited for the pep-rally and football game tomorrow!
